Featuring a dozen talented readers, including authors Nicholas Jose, Carol LeFevre & Geoff Goodfellow, be transported to Dublin circa 1904 through James Joyce’s epic and enduring novel “Ulysses”.
Pioneering a literary technique known as Stream of Consciousness, Joyce takes us on a journey with Leopold Bloom that takes place on a single day – June 16, 1904 – and echoes the exploits of Homer’s Odysseus.
It is said that Joyce intended “Ulysses” to be read aloud – so read it aloud we shall! And to get in the spirit of things, please consider dressing in Edwardian attire – maybe just a nod to the era with a hat or coat, some Irish green or go fabulously all-out.
