Bricks & Mortar
Located in the elegant Adelaide Arcade, Orchard Bookshop is one of Australia’s premier boutique bookstores.
With an ever-changing, hand-picked selection of new, vintage & collectible books, every visit is a unique experience.
Our CBD bookstore is open Tuesday-Saturday for you to take time-out from the overwhelming demands of modern society.
Online Store
Looking for a special book to add to your personal library or gift? Our online store contains a selection of items sure to enhance any book collection.
Just like our in-store experience, we intentionally keep our selection small and, as books are purchased, we replace with different titles to create a fresh experience with your every visit.
We are currently experimenting with making available online some of our more general stock… stay tuned by checking in regularly!
Book Ordering
It’s time to reverse-showroom! If you use the internet to determine your next read, take that knowledge & order your choice through us. We’re small but we have access to tens of thousands of new books through traditional distribution channels, so fill out this handy form [click here] & we’ll see if we can get what you want.
Sell/Donate/Downsize
Generally, we ask for some photos to get the conversation started – check out our Downsizing Page for more info.
Support our Bookstore
But this is proving increasingly difficult to sustain, so if you are in a position to help, we would truly appreciate your support.
We have a range of ways, both financial & otherwise, by which you can help us make the world a little bit better.
