• Interestingly, Robbins’ cover illustration for the First Edition, depicting a person of colour, was consistent with Le Guin’s descriptions in the book, however, most other cover illustrators for subsequent editions show white-skinned people [which is also consistent with some characters, but Le Guin has stated Robbins’ illustration would always be the true cover]
