• From 1902 to 1904, renowned architect & designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh was commissioned to have built what would become The Hill House for successful publisher Walter Blackie [Blackie & Son]
• This is Blackie’s account of their meeting to discuss The Hill House creation also touching on their later relationship [essay originally published in the Scottish Art Review XI, No.4, 1968]
• Designed by Nadia Ducic as a limited edition [number unknown, likely fewer than 50 copies]
• Limited Edition [School of Design, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, 1976]; 31cm x 29cm blue textured card folded in half, silver titling to front, bumped at corners, spine & top edge sunned; containing five sheets 30 x 28cm also folded to form endpapers [illustrated] & 16 pages, staplebound; an excellent copy
