• In April, 1905, a red booklet titled Arcadian Adelaide was hurled like a molotov cocktail into the good society of Adelaide. It ran to ten editions in a short span, was pilloried by the insulted establishment [including the published reply A Scratch From An Adelaide “Cat” by Mrs F. Ellis] & invoked this sequel – which ran to a fourth edition & all by the year’s end!
