• Second Editions [George Allen & Unwin, London, 1967]; 2nd Impressions, although all have slightly different formats for publication history [see pics]; red cloth, gold titling to spine, slightly rubbed at extremities, occasional minor mark on cloth, each volume with excellent fold-out map at rear, some light foxing, excellent copies; in unclipped jackets of varying conditions as follows:
  • Fellowship – a little bumped, especially at top, & rubbed with some discolouration at extremities; excellent condition
  • Two Towers – rubbed & bumped on edges, some superficial insect damage to spine & front flap edge, stain to spine; good+ condition
  • Return – rubbed & bumped on edges, small chip at top of rear flap, some superficial insect damage to spine & front flap edge with hole near spine base, grease spot to spine; good+ condition
• NB The Fellowship Of The Ring is marginally larger in size, with stronger red topstain & dustjacket has Seventh Impression on front flap
